Post 8: English Language Challenges

 Hii everyone, first at all I want to say that personally I like to learn english, is very important these days know at least a few of the language. Saying this, my experience learning english at university has been fine, not excelent, but I feel that it is because the pandemic and the online classes, also is very difficult keep motivation of the study because we are in a very hard situation today, and I think is normal lost motivation and the focus of the study. For me the  use of blogs has been funny, I like to write and express my ideas and I feel that is a good hand to learn english, in my personal experience, also in the blogs I show something of my life to my classmates and for me is very nice the fact that my classmates know things about me and also I can know things about them. 💕 I would like to practice more my pronunciation in English and I want to perfect my writing, at the same time being able to speak more fluenty in English to express myself with people who speak the lan

Post 7: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

 Hi everyone!! I study psychology at University of Chile currently, and I like my study curriculum/ study program so much, the lenght of studies that I have sometimes is to much but I've can to realize my works and tests in a correct way fortunately, and on terms of the faculty facilities is something that doesn't affects me at all right now, or almost all of us because the classes are online, so, for the moment is not very important. The teaching methods that my teachers haves in general likes me a lot, I think they are very good profesionals in terms of teaching about the content and be interactive, in general.  However, some things I would like to change if it were possible, for me will be very great to have matters about ethics, gender, sexism, sexual dissent, etc, but I think it is something that I can study in a master degree, as I said on my last post. Also, I would like to have more short classes in some subjects, because some of these last more than 3 hours and it is s

Post 6: Postgraduate studies

   I think the main reason to study a postgraduate degree is to learn about a particular knowledge of the differentes careers and study areas. At the same time, when you have some postgraduate degree is easier to have a better job, because in the differents areas of jobs the directors look for someone with more knowledge and studies, unfortunately, I say unfortunalety because I think that It should be quicker and easier access to job, besides, make a degree isn't easy, specially when you are someone with low resources and withouth money. I would like to study about gender, I think that gender is one of the topics more relevants today, and it is one of the topics that I most like and interest.  At the same line of the gender, I wish to study about feminism, transfeminism, sexual dissent, etc. I think that is neccesary acquire more knowledge about these issues that are in the voices of many people today, and me as a trans woman with so much passion in the area of gender, sexualiy and

Post 5: My future job

I would like to work in a foundation that supports LGBT + people, especially trans people, helping them with their mental health and better coping with their circumstances, because I think that the trans people and LGBT+ in general needs support and company, a lot of times is very dificult in this society don't be cis straight. I imagine myself working in the OTD foundation that does what I mentioned above, giving company therapy and speaking with the family of the people to give information about it and supporting them. I would like to earn the enought money to live in calm and to can pay a house and sometimes travel, but for me is not necessary to have so much money and material things. At the beginning, I would like to work in my country, but later on I think it would be good to work in other countries. For me, it would be very gratifying to travel and meet LGBT + people from different parts of the world.  Community social psychology is the area that interests me the most and I

Post 4: My career

 I study psychology at Universidad de Chile in the Social Science Faculty. I choose this career because I'm interested in the differents mental processes, how situations affects each individual, and also I would like to help people cope with their different problems by giving them tools and support, and at the same time contribute to mental health with my grain of and be able to contribute in social problematics .  Today and due to the pandemic, my classes are just online. The online classes for me have been a little bit hard, because I don't have a very good internet, my internet is really slow so sometimes I have difficulties with that, also, the interaction is difficult sometimes, because everything is comunicated by chat or zoom meetings.  Nonetheless, I have met very nice people, i have very good classmates and group of friends, we help each other in differents things, like in studies, emotional well-being and to have moments of distraction in this hard context, so tha

Post 3: Mental health Problems related to a lockdown

In today's confinement I have felt alone, I have had moments of great anxiety, sorrow, hopelessness and anguish, and I consider it normal knowing everything that is happening ,  has been very dificult for each of us. In my point of view, I think in order to cope with this confinement, you can share mare with whoever is with you at home, try to make exercise, go for a walk in the way is alloweed, cook new things, learn about makeup, drawing, writing my thoughts, or  at least that has served me. I believe that the pandemic has been a great blow to the lives of all the people in the world, it has affected in different ways and magnitudes, but I believe that with this pandemic we must come out more united as a society and learn to value more the things that we did not value and we had before the pandemic After the pandemic ends, I would like to go to face-to-face classes, share a lot with my friends, visit people that I have not been able to see, know the north of Chile if I have

POSTING 2: The best holidays ever

 My best holiday was in July of 2019, almost two years ago. My mom and I went to Concepción and Talcahuano on winter holidays, We stayed in our cousin's house that lives in the center of Concepción, and we spent about a 4-5 days there. We went to different places, like Ecuador Park, the University of Concepción, the port of Talcahuano. We also met the city of Talcahuano, that is very beauty and it has a hills full of houses, something similar to Valparaiso, someday I would like to live in a house like that, but at the same time scares me in a case of an earthquake. The best thing that happened was that I got to meet a friend that I only knew on the internet, and she meets my mom also and was very funny and we get along very well, we took pictures, we go to the beach, the different parks, the mall, etc, and that was very greatful for me! I would like to repeat moments like that. Concepción for me is a very beautiful city, has a very great people, and has very alternative enviroments
